For those of you who want to see weeks of my hard work condensed to a little over a minute, here you go! This is a very quick glimpse of the making of my newest sculpture, ILLUSIVE PERSPECTIVES. Keep in mind that this is not an entirely accurate depiction of the work that goes into creating art. Things that you didn’t see in this video include: shipping delays, damaged material, so much brainstorming, improvising and problem solving, my dad helping me out a lot, hours and hours and hours of research, trial and error, and the little victory dance I did when it finally all worked out. Needless to say there were a lot of expected and unexpected challenges but I’m really proud of this piece and I might even make another one some time in the future. ✨💎🪩
ILLUSIVE PERSPECTIVES
The final steps of this installation were nerve wracking to say the least as there was no room for error. But I got it done! If you want to see what I’ve been working so hard on this past month, come to the Niagara Night of Art tomorrow at @niagarafallsmuseums!
